Gbajabiamila To Abejide: Stay In The ADC, Bring Bala Gombe We Will Support Him
At an event held earlier today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, made remarks directed at Leke Abejide, encouraging him to remain steadfast within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and continue his political efforts within the party structure.
Gbajabiamila’s comments were delivered in a supportive tone, emphasizing loyalty, internal strengthening, and strategic collaboration among party members.
According to him, Abejide should not consider leaving the party but instead deepen his involvement and build alliances that could strengthen the ADC. He specifically mentioned the importance of working with key political actors, including Bala Gombe, whom he suggested could play a significant role in the party’s future direction.
Gbajabiamila expressed confidence in Abejide’s political resilience, describing him as a fighter who should remain focused on what he believes is right for his political base and the party at large.
Quoting his exact words, Gbajabiamila stated: “Stay in the ADC, bring Bala Gombe, we will support him, you are a fighter, do the right thing.”
