CONGRATULATIONS HE GOVERNOR LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA ON YOUR INAUGURATION AS THE 7TH EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE TODAY 24TH FEBRUARY, 2025

Congratulations !

As you stand before the good people of Ondo State today 24th February,2025 honoured to assume the sacred mandate given you on 16th Nov. 2024. No doubt that Your Excellency’s love for this State is abiding. Your confidence in its people is unwavering. And your faith in God Almighty is absolute. The hands off God shall provide the needed moral strength and clarity of purpose in those instances when you seem to have reached the limits of your human capacity.

Today is going to be bold and majestic yet bright and full of spirit, as is our precious state.

While flipping through the trajectory of your emergence as a Governor against all odds, I’m convinced that i Psalm 118;22-

The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone and Rom 8;30

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified are loaded with the description of the circumstances surrounding your Excellency’s voyage to the top.

Referencing these two Bible passages, it’s obvious that Your Excellency has a date with destiny. It’s a divine call on you to lead this state like that of Moses. In that case, No price is too high to pay, No journey is too long to embark upon, No obstacle is too strong to dare, No battle is too fierce to surmount, No mountain is too high to mount and No sacrifice is too much to bear to deliver Good Governance and Ethical standards of leadership to the good people of Ondo state for posterity sake and for the fear of judgement day that we will all stand before our creator to give accounts of our stewardship.

No power of hell, no scheme of man or parochial interest should distract Your Excellency from the agenda of God embedded in your call for the people of Ondo state.

One of the greatest downfalls of many leaders is their failure to maintain focus on the core principles and content of their calls that initially brought them to power. Over time, the pursuit of power and pleasure often leads to a detachment from the foundational qualities that made them successful in the first place. Leaders, in their climb to the top, often forget the importance of continuous growth, self-reflection, and learning. As a result, they fall into the trap of complacency, which eventually weakens their leadership .

Learn from the tree, No matter how tall and grand it grows, it cannot survive without its roots. The roots provide stability, nourishment, and foundation for growth. The root of Your Excellency’s call is divinity found in the two Bible passages above Similarly, no matter how successful or influential a leader becomes they need to remain grounded in the practices, values, and principles that brought them to where they are. Neglecting these foundational elements can lead to a loss of direction, authority and influence.

At this Juncture, I will humbly recommend ; MOSES LEADERSHIP style for Your Excellency as follows;

1.Team Player /Partnerships ; This Can Turn Weaknesses into Strengths: Moses wasn’t confident in his speaking ability, but by partnering with Aaron, who was a strong communicator, he was able to lead effectively. This shows that what you might see as a weakness could be someone else’s strength. Sometimes, your weakness is actually another person’s calling.

.

Delegation- This is Key to Sustainability: Moses was overwhelmed until he followed Jethro’s advice to delegate responsibilities to others. Trying to do everything yourself can lead to burnout. Trusting others with power and training them to lead is crucial for a sustainable leadership.

It’s dawn of a new season!

Congratulations once again!
