The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, heartily congratulates Mr Ayo Sotinrin on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture.
Hon. Ogunmolasuyi describes Mr Sotinrin as a seasoned technocrat, a forward-thinking development strategist, and a results-oriented leader whose broad experience across the private and public sectors is a strong asset to Nigeria’s agricultural transformation agenda.
“This appointment is a testament to Mr. Sotinrin’s impressive record in agriculture, infrastructure finance, and development partnerships. It also reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to leveraging tested hands in driving strategic national goals,” Hon. Ogunmolasuyi noted.
Mr. Sotinrin has collaborated extensively with the Ondo State government on several impactful projects, including leading roles in the $200 million Akure Water Supply Project and managing large-scale agricultural initiatives like the 20,000-hectare oil palm plantation under the SAO Group.
“Ondo State has directly benefitted from Mr. Sotinrin’s developmental vision and technical expertise. His role in past collaborations has had a lasting effect on critical sectors such as agriculture and infrastructure, and we remain optimistic that his leadership at the Bank of Agriculture will bring similar transformative value at the national level,” the Majority Leader added.
Hon. Ogunmolasuyi also appreciates President Tinubu’s strategic foresight in appointing a highly capable and accomplished individual to head the Bank of Agriculture at such a crucial time in Nigeria’s food security and economic diversification drive.
He wishes Mr. Sotinrin strength, wisdom, and success as he begins this new service chapter to the nation.
