Olanrewaju Omiyinka, the Nigerian actor popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has reportedly been released from prison.
Yomi Fabiyi, another actor and a friend of Baba Ijesha, broke the news on Instagram, revealing that he regained his freedom on Friday.
Fabiyi added that his colleague was released after an appeal court overturned his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor, following over three years in custody.
“You are now officially FREE AND OUT. Baba Ijesha is not just back but BETTER,” he wrote.
