The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the newly appointed and reappointed officials of the Ondo State Government, as approved by His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. These appointments reflect the Governor’s commitment to effective governance, continuity, and excellence in service delivery.
Honourable Ogunmolasuyi particularly celebrates the appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Dr. Fasoranti, the son of the esteemed leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural and political organization, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, has demonstrated a wealth of experience in administrative and healthcare management, having previously served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.
Additionally, Honourable Ogunmolasuyi commends the reappointment of Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as the Commissioner for Finance. In particular, Mrs. Isaac’s retention as the Commissioner for Finance is a strategic move ensuring financial stability and continuing policies aimed at economic growth and fiscal responsibility. Honourable Ogunmolasuyi expresses his confidence in her ability to drive further sustainable financial reforms that will benefit the people of Ondo State.
The Majority Leader also acknowledges the outstanding contributions of Engr. Abiola Olawoye who has been elevated from Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing to Special Adviser in the same portfolio. This elevation is a well-deserved recognition of his remarkable service and expertise in infrastructural development. Honourable Ogunmolasuyi is optimistic that Engr. Olawoye will leverage his new position to advance critical projects that will enhance urban and rural development, improve housing policies, and drive infrastructural growth across the state.
Furthermore, Honourable Ogunmolasuyi congratulates the reappointed Special Advisers: Engr. Johnson Alabi (Power), Dr. Seun Osamaye (Women Affairs), Comrade Bola Taiwo (Union Matters & Special Duties), and Prof. Simidele Odimayo (Health). Governor Aiyedatiwa has recognized their wealth of experience and commitment to their respective sectors, and their continued service will undoubtedly contribute to the overall development of the state. The Majority Leader appreciates Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s steadfast commitment to strengthening governance in Ondo State by selecting capable and experienced individuals. He urges all appointees to justify their trust by working diligently, upholding the values of accountability, and prioritizing the welfare of the people.
