NSCDC honours Kano volunteer who returned N20m forgotten in tricycle
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zone 12 Command, Kano, has honoured one Nura Abdullahi, a volunteer staff, for returning more than N20 million forgotten by a co-passenger in a commercial tricycle.
Presenting a commendation letter to Abdullahi on Friday in Kano, Amos Abiodun-Taiwo, the zonal commander, described his action as “a rare display of honesty, integrity and professionalism.”
According to the commander, the incident occurred when a passenger, identified as Alhaji Mustafa from Katsina, alighted from the tricycle, forgetting his bag containing money.
