Three buses in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv have been involved in an explosion incident.
According to footage on social media, at least one bus on fire can be seen in a parking lot, with a large plume of smoke rising above.
The police in Israel are investigating the development, according to the BBC News.
According to the country’s Police the incident was a “suspected terror attack”.
It was also reported that that “large police forces are at the scenes, searching for suspects”.
According to the Police, there have been no reports of casualties at this stage.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid the areas and remain alert for suspicious items.
It remains unclear if the development is related to the crisis rocking Israel.
