…Urge all Local Government council officers to uphold the tenet of democracy and ensure good governance
In a statement released today to the Press, Hon. Gbenga Eleduma extends his heartfelt congratulatory messages to the executive Chairman and the 11 Councilors of Owo Local Government Area on their successful Inauguration.
He further emphasized the importance of grassroot administration and the positive impact on the masses.
He said, the idea of creation of Local Government administration is to foster development and growth at the grassroot and ensure sense of inclusivity on issues of collective concerns.
He also advised the Honorable members to be answerable to the good people of Owo Kingdom and to always bridge the gap of inequality and marginalization
We are at a time where credible leadership is required to facilitate development and growth at all levels of governance, he said.
Once again, I congratulate all the Local Government political officers as they embark on this official responsibilities of leading the good people of Owo Local Government Area for the next few years, may your tenure bring all round development and progress to our land, he concluded.
