Advancing student Rights: NAOSS Proactive stance at FESSU National Congress
On May 31st, 2025, the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS), led by the visionary President Comr. Alade Temitope, was ably represented by a high powered delegation comprising key executives, including the NAOSS Global Public Relations Officer, Assistant General Secretary, Personal Assistant to the Global President, and other notable officials, at the FESSU National Congress. This esteemed event not only reaffirmed the longstanding cordial relationship between our associations but also underscored NAOSS unwavering commitment to collaborative efforts in promoting the welfare of students nationwide.
During the congress, the NAOSS Global President Comr. Alade Temitope (GCAF) seized the opportunity to shed light on a pressing concern affecting NAOSSITES in Ekiti State. With unflinching candor, he brought to the forefront the scourge of police brutality that students endure while commuting to and from school. In a passionate and compelling address, Comr. Alade Temitope implored the FESSU National President to leverage every available platform to bring an end to this menace, ensuring that students can travel without the specter of fear or harassment from security operatives along their routes.
This proactive engagement is a testament to NAOSS unrelenting dedication to safeguarding the rights, safety, and wellbeing of it’s members. By engaging in meaningful dialogue and collective action, NAOSS continues to solidify its reputation as a champion of student interests, driving positive change within the student community. The event served as a powerful reminder of the impact of inter-association collaboration in advancing the noble cause of student welfare.
