2027: Hon. Taiwo Abidakun Offers Competent, People-Driven Leadership for Owo Constituency I

As political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Taiwo Abidakun has emerged as a leading aspirant for Owo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, campaigning on a platform of competent representation and people-driven governance.

Hon. Abidakun, known for his grassroots engagement across the constituency, says his aspiration is rooted in the need to close the gap between government and the governed. His legislative blueprint focuses on three key areas: youth empowerment through skills acquisition and job creation, accelerated infrastructural development across all wards, and improved access to quality education and healthcare services.

Stakeholders describe Abidakun as accessible and pragmatic, with a track record of interfacing with community leaders, youth groups, and market associations to understand pressing local challenges. “Representation must start with listening. My commitment is to ensure that the voice of Owo Constituency I is heard clearly at the Assembly, and that it translates to projects and policies that touch lives directly,” Abidakun said during a recent consultation in Owo.

Party faithful and community leaders who have aligned with his aspiration cite his experience, exposure, and clarity of vision as assets that stand him out. They argue that Owo Constituency I requires a legislator who can lobby effectively, build consensus, and provide transparent feedback to constituents on government programmes and constituency projects.

With 2027 approaching, Hon. Taiwo Abidakun is intensifying consultations across the wards in Owo Constituency I, urging constituents to prioritize competence and character in their choice of representative. His campaign message continues to emphasize service over status, and results over rhetoric, as he seeks the mandate to provide people-driven representation in the Ondo State House of Assembly.
