Abdullahi Reacts To Tinubu’s Comment That What ADC Did In FCT Was Noise Making And Street Convention
The spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Bolaji Abdullahi has taken to his official X account on Friday, April 17, 2026 to react to the statement that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made about ADC.
According to DAILY POST, the President stated that what leaders of the African Democratic Congress, ADC did in Abuja was a street convention.
He said;
“I am inspired. I’m ready. I am grateful to all of you. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to break the shackles of poverty and ignorance, to ensure democracy survives. Not the noise making, not the rascality of a street convention”.
Reacting to the comment that was made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ADC spokesperson stated that the President was not properly informed.
According to Bolaji Abdullahi on his official X account;
“We also reject the false narrative around the ADC National Convention. We did not hold our convention on the street. If that was the story supplied to the President by agents of disruption, then he has been misinformed”.
