OWO local government has failed to advance practically and infrastructurally due to barbaric leadership . We once had competent leader in owo local government, but bad leaders who are selfish, greedy and who mandated what comes to their pocket,has hindered growth. Our leaders focus and concentration on how to improve and accumulate more Wealth,has led to poverty of mind and left the community undeveloped.
Recently, Owo local government has experienced a high voltage of Inhibition and insecurity has been unrestrained, with occurrences proceeding daily with no temporary nor permanent lasting solution. Our farmers and markets women can no longer engage in their day to day activities , this has left the people of owo in a darkness.
OWO local government who happened to be one of the best local government in Nigeria historical profile, has now lost it value and worth as a community. Our local government has lost globally influence and respect due to bad leaders who has failed us in different stage of representation. The people of the local government face dehumanizing scrutiny within and outside the state.
Members representing OWO local government from the constituency 1, person of HON OGUNMOLASUYI WEST AND the constituency 2 , the person of HON. RENIKE WHITESPOON, at the ondo state assembly has failed the entire community woefully and the people of owo local government no longer believe in the leadership nor the system . The distinguish honorable representing constituency 1 and constituency 2 of owo local government at the state assembly, has give precedence to distinctive interests over the people needs, making capricious resolutions without regard for the masses.
I call on the entire people of owo, to unite their efforts in community building and unanimously resolve on their ground by not giving a chance to any shenanigans person , who may comes forward to seek for your vote in the coming 2027 election. An adage says “ONCE BEATEN, TWICE SHY” A negative past or present experience shouldn’t be condone in the future. We can only move a mountain when we stand in a consentaneous position.
OWO demand a new set of transformative leadership, Good representatives is the foundation of any developed community. The leadership of the community are behind making imperative decisions that define the lives of the masses.
