Arobo Unveils Comprehensive Manifesto for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency; focuses on grassroots and human capital development.
In continuation of his determined pursuit to reposition and uplift the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Barrister Ghani Rotimi Arobo has formally unveiled his manifesto, outlining a broad and strategic legislative agenda aimed at addressing the pressing needs of the people. The unveiling, which took place at the Aruwajoye Civic Hall, attracted a significant gathering of party stakeholders, including representatives of state party leadership, local government executives, and ward leaders across the constituency.
Speaking at the event, Arobo emphasized his commitment to delivering effective and people-oriented representation. Central to his legislative blueprint are initiatives focused on improving security, tackling poverty, and enhancing access to basic amenities. He highlighted plans to sponsor and support bills that will address critical issues such as pipe-borne water supply and sanitation, areas he described as fundamental to public health and community development.
According to him, his approach to governance will prioritize practical solutions that directly impact the daily lives of constituents.
A key pillar of his manifesto is economic empowerment. Arobo outlined strategies to equip constituents with relevant skills through structured acquisition programmes, followed by genuine empowerment initiatives designed to promote self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. He stressed that empowerment must go beyond rhetoric, assuring attendees of transparent and impactful programmes that will benefit youths, women, and vulnerable groups within the constituency.
In a further demonstration of inclusivity, Arobo pledged strong support for child welfare and the protection of persons living with disabilities. He reiterated his belief that governance must be compassionate and equitable, ensuring that no segment of society is left behind. His proposed policies, he noted, will incorporate frameworks that promote social protection and equal opportunities for all.
To strengthen accessibility and accountability, Arobo also promised to establish a functional constituency office and helpdesk within Owo/Ose Federal Constituency. This, he explained, will serve as a direct link between the people and their representative, enabling prompt response to concerns and fostering continuous engagement with constituents.
Additionally, Arobo revealed plans to embark on comprehensive resource mapping and to harness the agricultural potential of the constituency. As part of this vision, he proposed the establishment of the Owo/Ose Development Corporation Ltd/GTEE, an initiative aimed at driving local economic growth, attracting investments, and creating employment opportunities for residents.
