Obi Made It Clear That If ADC Make The Primaries Transactional, He’ll Leave; We Already Know – Sani

Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker has reacted to the comments of the former governor of Anambra State and ADC Chieftain, Peter Obi. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the comments from the former governor were expected

Many were left stunned after the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi made a striking comment during a highly monitored interview on AriseTv.

The Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in his statements which triggered massive public attention, pointed out that he might leave the ADC if certain conditions were not met.

Reacting, Senator Shehu Sani, a respected human rights activist and former federal lawmaker in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, pointed out that the comments were expected.

According to his statements, he pointed out that by stating that he will depart if the ADC makes its primaries transactional, the former governor demonstrated ignorance of Nigeria politics.

Senator Shehu Sani, widely known for his outspokenness, pointed out that delegates had the final say in deciding who emerge as the flag-bearer across all political platforms.

These were the words of Senator Shehu Sani which he shared on his official X handle;

“…..Peter made it clear that if the primaries of his party became transactional, he will leave. If you have ever contested an election or you have ever supported an aspirant in a major party, you can accurately predict what will happen at the end…” He wrote.
